MultiPlus-II Inverter 48/5000/70-95 120V

The MultiPlus-II combines the functions of the MultiPlus and the MultiGrid.

It has all the features of the MultiPlus plus the option of installing an external current transformer to enable PowerControl and PowerAssist and to optimize self-consumption with an external current sensor (max. 32A).

It also has all the features of MultiGrid with built-in anti-islanding and a growing list of countries that have already approved it.

The MultiPlus-II can prevent overloads from a limited AC source such as a generator or shore power. First, it will automatically reduce the charge to the battery when an overload would otherwise occur. Second, it will draw current from the battery to compensate for the generator or utility power.

The MultiPlus-II is the key component of a Victron ESS system, offering the flexibility to combine with MPPT solar chargers or grid-tied PV inverters. Examples and more detailed information can be found at the ESS Manual (Energy Storage System).

In the event of a power failure, or disconnection from shore power or the generator, the inverter integrated in the Multi is automatically activated and takes over the supply to power the connected loads. This happens so quickly (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic equipment continue to operate without interruption.

When paired with a GX device (e.g. a Cerbo GX) you can monitor and control your Multi and its system(s) locally (LAN) or remotely over the Internet from anywhere in the world with the free VRM app and the free VRM portal.
