It monitors and protects batteries against over- and under-voltage of any individual cell, as well as over- and under-temperature conditions.<\/p>\n<p>Depending on the state of the battery or batteries, the BMS:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Generate a pre-alarm signal to alert of an impending cell low voltage condition.<\/li>\n<li>Disable inversion on VE.Bus inverters or inverter\/chargers via VE.Bus, and disable other loads via the \u201cLoad Disconnect\u201d terminal in the event of an undervoltage situation in the cell.<\/li>\n<li>Disabling charging on VE.Bus inverters or inverter\/chargers via VE.Bus and disabling other chargers via the &#039;Charge Disconnect&#039; terminal in the event of a cell overvoltage, undertemperature or overtemperature condition.<\/li>\n<li>Remote on\/off terminals.<\/li>\n<li>Possibility to disable VE.Direct and VE.Can solar chargers through a GX device.<\/li>\n<li>Possibility to control the VE.Bus inverter\/charger from multiple devices, such as the Digital Multi Control, the VE.Bus Smart dongle and\/or a GX device.<\/li>\n<li>Auxiliary power input and output terminals that allow a GX device to remain powered in the event of a system shutdown.<\/li>\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The VE.Bus BMS V2 is a Battery Management System (BMS) designed to interface with and protect one or more Victron Smart 12.8V and 25.6V Lithium batteries (LiFePO4 or LFP) in systems using Victron inverters or inverter\/chargers with VE.Bus communication.
